Das futuristische, walförmige Gebäude des Universum Bremen

Universum® Bremen

Since March 7, 2015 visitors to the Universum Bremen can come and experience a new permanent exhibition inside the whale-shaped Science Center. The subject areas Humans, Technology, and Nature form the core of the new permanent exhibition.

The Science Center has over 4,000 square metres of interactive exhibitions from the world of science for you to explore. Discover how a polygraph machine works, challenge yourself to a contest of "man vs. machine", or experience what it feels like to stand in a tilted room. Over 250 exhibitions are waiting to be explored.

Multimedia-based, up-to-date, varied and interactive

The new concept delivers a state-of-the-art and varied presentation: At multimedia stations with comprehensive accompanying texts, the curious learn everything they want to know about a subject. Additionally, various research institutes present their latest work. A newly built "TechnikStudio" encourages logical thinking and creativity. Recharge your batteries in the pleasant Science Lounge. And for visitors from three to eight years old, a visit to the Children’s Area is a must.
