Bremen Town Musicians Play 2026
The performance based on the Brothers Grimm brings the well-known fairy tale “The Bremen Town Musicians” to life!

The stage is set for the Bremen Town Musicians! The four animals, donkey, dog, cat and rooster, come to life at Domshof and tell the adventurous story of their journey to Bremen - open air, live and in full life size. The folk tale delights audiences of all ages.

Every Sunday from May 24 to September 27, 2026
12 noon German performance, 1 p.m. English performance
Exceptions: June 14 (La Strada) and June 21 (CitySommerFest HOEG)
Entry is free of charge.
Since 2023, the Bremen Town Musicians have been shining in a new guise, bringing their own songs to the stage alongside new voices. Together with the Showtunes ensemble, director and author Dirk Böhling has created a new version of the old story. Look forward to a modern version of the classic fairy tale!
