Discover the Town Musicians, the Sögeschweine Sculptures or the Alexander von Humboldt from a new perspective! You will be accompanied on a digital city tour with literary texts and music in a funny and thought-provoking way, immersing yourself in the history of 17 places and learning more about Bremen's city center. The LauschOrte (Listening Places) project uses a QR code to provide you with audio pieces by Bremen artists, which you can find and play at the respective stations. These are attached to signs in the immediate vicinity of some of Bremen's sights. After scanning them, you can listen to emotional stories and myths from the past and present on your smartphone.
Go on a discovery tour and take a closer look at Bremen's places and objects. The project will give you new perspectives on our Hanseatic city. At the same time, you will come into contact with Bremen authors, actors and professional music ensembles who have recorded the literary texts and pieces of music for you. The project was developed as part of the City Centre Action Program in collaboration with the Bremer Literaturkontor and the Konsonanz chamber ensemble.
You will find the QR codes and audio pieces at the following stations:
At the Town Musicians
At the Equestrian statue at St. Peter's Cathedral
