CSD Bremen

The Christopher Street Day (CSD) Bremen e. V. is hoping for as many rainbow flags as possible at the upcoming CSD in the Hanseatic city. The demonstration starts at Altenwall, at the corner of the public library, and continues along the Wall to the main train station before returning to the city center.

The association aims to create a platform for the queer community in Bremen. Over time, numerous organizations have joined this initiative and launched a wide range of activities and events centered around queer life in the city. CSD has been held regularly in Bremen since 1979.

The focus is particularly on LGBTQIA+-hostile statements, discrimination and global hate. Together, participants take to the streets of Bremen to stand up for rights and visibility within the community.
