At the German Maritime Museum, the reciprocal relationship between man and the sea is brought to life for visitors with exciting exhibitions and exhibits.

What does seafaring have to do with my life? And what role do I actually play in the relationship between man and sea? The German Maritime Museum or Leibniz Institute of Maritime History is dedicated to these questions and takes visitors on an exciting journey through its research work, which is presented in fascinating exhibitions with historical exhibits such as the Bremen Cog, the world's best preserved trading ship of the Middle Ages.
