Camping is a relaxing and comfortable way to go on holiday. Travelling on wheels is a popular way for many people to discover new places. Bremen is also a popular destination for campers, which is why we have put together a list of the most beautiful campsites in Bremen and the region:
Camping zum Kuhhirten is located in the centre of Bremen, yet surrounded by beautiful greenery. Situated on the Werderinsel between the Weser and Werdersee, there are opportunities to cool off and a great landscape to relax in. The proximity to the Sielwall ferry is also practical, taking you to the Osterdeich and the lively "Viertel " in just a few minutes.
The Hansecamping site is located directly on the Stadtwaldsee Lake. Perfect for relaxing by the water or for beautiful bike tours and walks. The Bürgerpark is also in the immediate vicinity. The city centre is 6 km away and can be reached by bike or public transport.
The Weser-Camping-Bollen campsite is located in a natural setting right by the water. Although you are right in the middle of nature, the campsite offers good connections to art, culture and culinary delights, as the city centre is only 30 minutes away. Get to know this idyllic gem as a day tourist, on a short holiday or with your own pitch.
Knaus Campingpark offers pure relaxation right by the kilometre-long Oyter bathing lake. Even though it is just outside Bremen, the city centre can be reached quickly by public transport. Oyten is also a popular starting point for the Wümme Cycle Route and other tours through the northern German countryside.
In the beautiful municipality of Lemwerder on the Weser there is also a motorhome site. The site is close to the town centre and has a boules court with 2 lanes next to the tennis hall (approx. 50 metres). Enjoy great cycle tours and excursions in the Weserland region.
The motorhome site belongs to the artHotel of the Kelber Hotel Group and is located near the Weser Weir in Bremen. Despite the quiet location, there are numerous cafés, restaurants and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. It is also easy to get to Bremen city centre by public transport. If you don't want to organise your own breakfast in the morning, you can start the day in comfort at the artHotel.
