Terms and conditions for contests

1. How the contest works

The contest is organised by WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “WFB”). Each contenhthas a specific entry period. Entries can be submitted online, via the relevant social media channels or the newsletter. Only entries received during the entry period will be considered. Each person may only enter the contest once. Participation in the contest is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or tickets for events organized by WFB or the sponsor. 
 

2. Eligibility

Only participants of legal age who are permanent residents of Germany are eligible to participate. Legal representatives and employees of WFB, as well as all other persons involved in the implementation of the contest, are excluded from participation. The same applies to family members of the aforementioned groups of persons. 
 

3. Exclusion of participants

WFB reserves the right to exclude participants who violate the conditions of participation or attempt to influence the competition through technical manipulation. In the event of exclusion, prizes may also be revoked and reclaimed retrospectively. In this case, replacement winners may be drawn. 
 

4. Prizes

The prize is described on the page with the competition form. 

The prize draw will take place after the closing date from among the entries received during the entry period at www.bremen.de, the newsletter or on the social media channels. The winners will be notified promptly by email using the email address provided by the participants. Participants are responsible for the accuracy of the email address provided. If participants cannot be reached due to an incorrect email address, the prize claim will be forfeited. WFB and the other persons involved in the implementation of the contest are not obliged to check the addresses provided by participants.
 

Cash payment of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Legal recourse is excluded. Winners are responsible for any taxation of the prize. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winners 
 

5. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively. 
 

DATA PROTECTION

In order to participate in the contest, it is essential to provide personal data. The personal data received from participants will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition and will be deleted after the prize has been awarded, unless the participants have expressly consented to further use. Participants are free to revoke their consent to the storage of their data at any time by sending an email to stadtportal@wfb-bremen.de and thus withdraw from participation. Once the data has been deleted, participation in the competition and any subsequent prize draw is excluded.
