Summer festival Vorstraße feat. Spittaler Straße

Since the 1970s, the residents of the Vorstraße student hall of residence have organised a big party in their courtyard every summer. The neighbouring Spittalerstraße hall of residence has also been on board for several years.

In summer, Bremen students once again gather around the Vorstraße hall of residence to celebrate a big summer festival together. What began as a small, private celebration has become an integral part of Bremen's festival repertoire 40 years later. Last year, over 6,000 students and visitors celebrated on the meadows around Vorstraße. You will be well catered for both musically and culinarily. A cosy chill-out area with tents and seating invites you to relax. Local and international bands will provide the atmosphere on two stages. From hip-hop and funk to rock'n'roll, everything is included. There will be a two-hour DJ set from midnight and you can really get your dancing feet tapping! The two-day festival is organised by the residents of the residence themselves.

Saturday afternoon also brings culture and games for all ages: In addition to the established PoetrySlam from 2.30 pm and the children's afternoon, this year's programme will be expanded to include various workshops, such as beer yoga and festival massages.
