Werdersee lake

For joggers, walkers, swimmers or water sports enthusiasts - the Werdersee is always worth a visit. The central location, around 54.5 hectares of lake surface and excellent water quality offer the best conditions for local recreation on and in the water.

Waller Feldmarksee lake

The Waller Feldmarksee borders directly on the allotment garden area "In den Wischen". With a size of 12.36 hectares and a depth of 16.5 metres, it offers enough space for bathing enthusiasts and water sportsmen and women. And the surrounding countryside also beckons outdoors.

Lake Uferaue Habenhausen

A sandy shore has been created in Habenhausen through "nature-compatible local recreation".

Lake Stadtwaldsee / Unisee

Better known as the Unisee, Bremen's Stadtwaldsee is located in the direct vicinity of the University of Bremen. But Bremen's largest quarry pond is not only a welcome place for students to relax. With its direct connection to the Bürgerpark, the Stadtwaldsee is a popular destination for all Bremen residents.

Lake Sodenmattsee

In the middle of Huchting, the Sodenmatt Lake awaits its bathers. Like many other lakes in Bremen, the Sodenmattsee owes its existence to road construction work. Once excavated as a sand spring, the quarry pond now provides bathing fun.

Lake Rottkuhle

Close to the old village centre of Arbergen lies the Rottkuhle - Bremen's smallest bathing lake. As a public summer bath, the naturally formed lake provides cooling in the hot months and has a lot to offer all around to make a nice summer's day.

Lake Mahndorfer See

Lake Mahndorf makes swimmers' hearts beat faster. With a total area of around 20 hectares and a maximum depth of around 15 metres, it offers plenty of space for splashing, crawling and diving. And all this in front of a green panorama.

Lake Bultensee

Bathing enthusiasts and anglers like to romp around the Bultensee in the district of Blockdiek. With a total area of 5.43 hectares, it is one of Bremen's smaller lakes. At its deepest point it reaches a depth of eleven metres.

Bathing area on the Weser

All year round, visitors to the bathing area on the Weser near Café Sand enjoy the magnificent view over the river. Bremen's lifeline stretches out in front of the panorama of the Osterdeich, inviting visitors to cool off in summer and tempting them as an excursion destination in all seasons.

Lake Achterdieksee

Small but beautiful! This is how the Achterdieksee in Bremen Oberneuland lies between deciduous trees and reeds. With an area of around 7.8 hectares, the quarry pond in eastern Bremen is not particularly large, but it still doesn't have to hide.
