Short distances, flat countryside, plenty of green routes and lots to see no wonder the Hanseatic city of Bremen is so popular with cyclists! In 2024, the number 1 most bicycle-friendly city in Germany with over 500,000 inhabitants hops on its bike. Within its thematic year "FAHRRADja! 2024. Bremen cycles with you." Bremen dedicates itself to the various opportunities to experience the city and the surrounding area by bike.


Coordinated by the WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH, numerous event organisers, tourist facilities, associations and many more offer a programme that focuses on cycling in Bremen: Cycling tours and festivals, hands-on activities, cycling courses, exhibitions and concerts as well as many other activities await young and old. In 2024, the city demonstrates its distinctive cycling culture and thereby highlights a high quality of life as well as sustainable mobility. Bremen says "yes!" ("ja!“) to cycling.
