This year, the music and culture festival SummerSounds invites you to a diverse festival programme in Bremen's Neustadt. You can expect a colourful programme and, of course, lots of open-air music!

Without diversity it's quiet - SummerSounds is one of the biggest music and culture festivals in Bremen. Since 2006, the festival has taken place in the Neustadtswallanlagen with around 30,000 participants every year. Live concerts by local and international bands, DJ dancefloor, jazz, indie, African beats and hip-hop ensure a diverse programme every year. SommerSounds is diverse, local and global and has an audience far beyond the city limits.
More than just a Music Festival
The festival is more than just music and culture, it's about neighbourly communication, creativity and networking beyond the days of the event. SummerSounds is no longer just a Neustadt family festival, it is a festival for the whole of Bremen. Every year the festival reinvents itself with constantly changing actors, activities and offers. In addition to music, diversity, sustainability, neighbourly commitment, networking and integration play a central role at SummerSounds and thus strengthen our civil society and democracy as a place of encounter. SummerSounds is like an urban laboratory for future trends in our society.
