Great to have you here! The exchange with you is important to us - because our channels thrive on exchange, cooperation and diversity. To ensure that our social media channels remain a place for respectful and constructive discussions, a few basic rules apply here. With your participation, you help to make our digital community friendly, open and lively.
Please treat each other with respect and courtesy - even if you have different opinions. Insults, provocations, personal attacks or condescending comments have no place here. Constructive criticism is welcome - as long as it is factual and respectful.
Bremen stands for open-mindedness, tolerance and diversity. That is why we do not tolerate any content that is racist, sexist, queer-hostile, ableist, anti-Semitic or otherwise misanthropic. Conspiracy narratives, deliberate misinformation or extremist ideas are also not published or consistently removed.
Our channels are all about Bremen, its people, places and stories. Please make sure that your contributions relate to the respective topic of the post. Content that is unrelated - such as spam, advertising, chain letters or irrelevant links - will be removed.
Repeated posting of the same or provocative content, trolling or deliberate disruption of discussions are not permitted. We want to promote constructive cooperation.
Please take care to protect your privacy and that of others. Do not publish any personal data such as telephone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses or other sensitive information in the comments.
As an official channel of the city marketing department, we are politically neutral. Content with election advertising, election calls or defamation of political actors is therefore not permitted and will be removed.
In many of our contributions - for example in reels or in the broadcast channel - employees give personal tips or insights into their work. They do this with a great deal of commitment and passion for Bremen. Disrespectful comments, derogatory remarks or personal attacks on them are also not tolerated. They also have a right to an appreciative and protected space in our community.
We reserve the right to hide or delete posts or to block or report users in the event of serious violations. Together, we ensure that the community around our channels remains a place where people enjoy spending time: inspiring, open, fair and friendly.
