Fair rewards for fair travel.

BremenPay is taking a break. Stay tuned to see what happens next.

All the latest news to BremenPay will be posted here and in the Bremen newsletter.

BremenPay turns good deeds into currency.

During the first campaign period in May 2026, BremenPay highlighted and rewarded commitment to making the city a better place to live. BremenPay did not introduce a new currency, but rather returned to an old idea: fair exchange. Good deeds became the currency for a wide range of benefits and experiences in Bremen.

How does BremenPay work?

1. Do good.
It all starts with a good deed. For example, cycling, arrival by train or extend your stay in Bremen.

2. Provide a simple proof
All it takes is a small piece of evidence to prove the good deed. For example, a photo, a train ticket, or similar documentation.*

3. Exchange for a little thank-you
The proof of purchase can be exchanged for a thank-you gift at the participating partners' locations.*

* Find details about all of the listed activities, rewards and required evidence on the map. | The promotion in this offer is only applicable in the month of May 2026.

BremenPay works very simply: Anyone who does something good in Bremen during the promotional period—whether exploring the city by bike, taking a walk, or simply staying an extra night—gets something good in return. This includes discounted admission, free city tours, little treats like a free cup of coffee, and many other benefits. In this way, climate-conscious and considerate behavior becomes an integral part of the city experience.

The sticker booklets were available from BremenPay partners.
